After eight seasons on the air, Steve Harvey’s daytime talk show has been cancelled. “The Kelly Clarkson Show” will replace “Steve,” formerly known as “The Steve Harvey Show,” and it will be the lead in to the very popular program “Ellen.”

“Steve” was distributed by NBC, and it’s possible that it could be picked up by another company. Ratings were actually up 27% for Steve Harvey, according to Deadline. But the expenses for the show increased after it relocated from Chicago to Los Angeles. Nevertheless, Kelly Clarkson’s new show will launch in the Fall of 2019.
