Toya Wright Details Falling Out With Tamar Braxton In New Book

Today Toya Wright released her third book, viagra buy “In My Own Words…My Real Reality, pilule ” and within its pages she discusses the last few months of her life. Everything from her relationship to Lil Wayne and her recent divorce from MempHitz, to the murder of her two brothers, becomes a topic in the new book.

In one segment, Toya discusses her friendships with the women she consider her sisters. She talks about the do’s and don’ts of “real friends” and then brings up her “falling out” with Tamar Braxton. You may recall Toya appeared on The Real to promote her book and discuss the death of her brothers back in September. Months prior, Tamar Braxton had a very public exit from the show. Toya and Tamar were friends at the time and Toya admits that appearing on the show put a strain on her relationship with Tamar.

In the book, Toya says that she never really asked Tamar why she exited the show. In fact, while Tamar was on the show, Toya says she was never able to come on as a guest.

“My friend was on the talk show for what I believe was two seasons and I was never able to go on there. After my friend was fired, my publicist was able to get me on the show, which I found to be stranger. I never had a convo with my homegirl about what happened to her and how she ended up leaving the talk show. All I knew is that she no longer worked there. ”

Toya says that she felt great about getting to be on the show and discuss her new book. However, little did she know that drama was to follow.

“I was able to release the cover art of my new book on the show. I was super excited! Little did I know, when I was done with the show I was gonna lose a friend and get unfollowed. It was news to my ears as I logged on to my social media accounts to see that I was tagged in all kinds of posts saying that myself and another friend were unfollowed for going on the show.”

Toya doesn’t name the friend, but many believe that it could have been Monica, who appeared on The Real just a few days before Toya did.

Toya says she was not only shocked, but hurt that Tamar wouldn’t call her personally to discuss her feelings. She also wanted the opportunity to explain that appearing on the show was a business move and not to be taken personal. Toya says she wasn’t trying to take her job, she was just promoting her book, and didn’t understand why Tamar would feel so slighted that she wouldn’t reach out. “I guess I lost a friend, or maybe she was an associate,” Toya writes. “Either way another lesson learned. When people show you who they are, believe them.”
