VH1 Cancels Single Ladies

The former First Lady of Turks and Caicos is out of a job. VH1 cancels ‘Single
Ladies…’

After three years VH1 has decided to cancel Queen Latifah’s ‘Single Ladies’ starring LisaRaye, Charity Shea and Denise Vasi.

The first season got off to a great start but ended on a rocky note
after Stacey Dash was fired and replaced with Denise Vasi after repeated clashes
with cast and crew.

VH1 released an official statement about the series getting the axe, hinting that they may be working with the Queen’s company on something else real soon.

“We’ve been proud to deliver three seasons of the drama, romance and style that engaged viewers in each episode of Single Ladies. Although we’ve decided not to move forward with another season, we hope to work again with the talented cast, creatives and producers as well as our partners at Flavor Unit Entertainment in the near future. We also thank the show’s fans for their support since the premiere in 2011.”

The March 24 season finale will serve as the series finale.
