Most people wake up in great spirits or with a hangover on New Year’s Day, but that wasn’t the case for Gary With Da Tea on the first day of 2019. He woke up feeling melancholy, because he reflected on the loss of his oldest brother, who passed away unexpectedly from a pulmonary embolism last year as Gary was dealing with his own shocking cancer diagnosis.

Despite his not-so-cheery mood, Gary With Da Tea went on Facebook Live on January 1st to send Happy New Year’s greetings, and said he has some things in store for 2019.
