Fantasia Barrino returns to Broadway to rave reviews…

From Page Six,

“After Midnight” star Fantasia Barrino and her cast mates had a lot to celebrate at the opening night bash for their surprise hit show at Jimmy at the James Hotel.
Spies said Barrino and cast mates including Dulé Hill, Adriane Lenox and Norm Lewis were checking their smartphones when rave reviews for the show were posted at about midnight.
“Everyone was so excited — it was great to watch,” said a spy. “They were hugging each other, cheering, toasting, the whole bit.”
Fantasia and Dule Hill’s run in “After Midnight” lasts October 18 thru February 9th.

Toni Braxton and Baby Face take over the roles March 18 thru the 30th.

“After Midnight” is set in Harlem during the 20s at the Cotton Club and celebrates the music of Duke Ellington.
