The Jimi Hendrix biopic staring Andre 3000 may never see the light of day…
After premiering at the Toronto Film Festival last fall and screening at other film festivals ‘All is By My Side’ still does not have a solid release date. According to The NY Post the scheduled June release has been scrapped in favor of a “September timeline.”The family of Jimi Hendrix further distanced themselves from the project, first denying use of Hendrix music , and most recently complaining to The Seattle Times that they did not authorize use of the personal photos used in the film.
