Reginae Carter looks really happy and in love with YFN Lucci, but her mother Toya Wright is not here for their relationship. As someone who became a mother as a teenager, it’s easy to assume Toya is just being overprotective of oldest daughter. That’s not the case.

YFN Lucci is a 27-year-old rapper and father of four, and Reginae is a 19-year-old college student. Plus, Toya has firsthand knowledge of the downside of dating a rapper after becoming a young parent with Lil Wayne and marrying him. Toya stated:

“You know how I feel about that whole rapper thing. I dated your dad when I was younger than that and there’s a whole lot that comes with that lifestyle. And that’s the last thing I want or any mother want.”

Lil Wayne has not been gone public about his daughter Reginae being in a relationship with YFN Lucci. But Toya has enough to say for the both of them.

“I don’t like the age difference. I don’t like the fact that he have [sic] four kids because I mean, you trying to be stepmom, honey?”
