Witnesses claim Terrence’s girlfriend Jasmine Sanders was behind the wheels, but her rep informed TMZ that she played no part in this accident:

“On behalf of our client, Jasmine Sanders, we would like to clarify that Ms. Sanders was not in the vehicle at the time of this morning’s accident and was in no way involved.”

Since Terrence J’s car didn’t hit anyone, abandoning his vehicle may not seem to be a very big deal. But it is. According to TMZ:

“A driver involved in an accident that causes death, injury or property damage must leave a note with identifying information. At the very least, the driver should have left a note on the parking meter. Hit-and-run is a crime.”

Police are reportedly searching for surveillance footage of the crash, and Terrence has not yet spoken publicly about what happened.
