Syleena Johnson Sort of Blames Faith Evans for Grammys Snub

Syleena Johnson isn’t too happy with Faith  Evans.

Evans was the only diva to get a Grammy nomination for their compilation  album, trocheR&B Divas.”

The album featured the divas from the show, sovaldi saleR&B Divas:  Atlanta.”

But the Grammys chose to only nominate Evans who appeared on more than 50  percent of the album.

And Johnson believes Evans could have had something to do with it.

“It was presented to us as a compilation CD but not entered into the Grammy  Awards as a compilation CD,” Syleena told The Huffington Post. “It was entered as a Faith Evans  album.”

She doesn’t want to assume Evans is at fault, but as of now, the finger  points at her.

“Faith sits on the Grammy board and she is literate with the rules. It  appears to be—I can’t say malicious. It’s possible it went over her head, but I  doubt it, but I don’t know. It looks selfish and like we were shafted,” she  said.

Nevertheless, as the preview for season three suggests, Johnson definitely  opened up about how she feels about the Grammy snub and Evans situation.

Although, it might not be as dramatic since Evans is no longer on the  show.

The show airs on TV One, Wednesdays at 10 p.m. EDT.
