Nicki Minaj is opening up about her ex, diagnosis Safaree Samuels, site the best way a rapper knows how — in her music. Their relationship is the subject matter of her new song, “Bed of Lies.”

The song confirms not only their breakup, but speculation as to why they broke up. Yes, it had a lot to do with his insecurities and jealousy.

She performed at the MTV European Music Awards a set of songs most likely about her past and present with Samuels — “Super Bass,” “Bed of Lies” and “Anaconda.”

But when she did “Bed of Lies” everyone seem to catch on about who she was talking about — confirming rumors about the breakup with Samuels in the lyrics.

“You could never make eye contact. Everything you got was based off of my contacts,” she rapped. “You a fraud, but I’mma remain icon-stat. Balenciaga’s on my boots with the python strap.”

“You was caught up in the rush, and you was caught up in the thrill of it. You was with me way before I hit a quarter mil’ in it,” she added. “Put you in the crib and you ain’t never pay a bill in it. I was killin’ it, man you got me poppin’ pills in it.”

“I told Baby hit you, I said this dude buggin’.
