Ne-Yo and Common Join The Wiz Live!
NBC rounds out the cast of The Wiz Live! with R&B singer Ne-Yo and rapper Common…
It was announced yesterday that Ne-Yo will play the Tin Man and Common will play the gatekeeper of OZ. “Hairspray” star Elijah Kelley has been cast as the Scarecrow.
Common, cure Ne-Yo and Elijah join Queen Latifah as The Wiz, Mary J. Blige as Evilene, Stephanie Mills as Auntie Em, Uzo Aduba as Glenda the Good Witch, Amber Riley as Addaperle and introducing Shanice Williams as Dorothy.
The Wiz Live! airs on NBC December 3.
