In an angry confrontation on last season’s Real Housewives of Atlanta reunion show NeNe Leaks challenged Kenya Moore to make a $20k donation to charity that she would match. Kenya chose The Detroit Public Schools.

So has the former beauty queen finally made good on her promise..?

Earlier this week there was a press release announcing Kenya Moore would be presenting a k check to Detroit Public Schools during an assembly at her former high school Cass Tech on Tuesday.

The assembly was later postponed until Friday and now its been postponed indefinitely.

The president of the Detroit Public Schools Foundation tells The Detroit Free Press,

“I’m disappointed for a variety of reasons. The students at Cass Tech were preparing to perform. There has been so much anticipation about her visiting the school.”

Meanwhile last night Kenya Instagrammed herself holding a $20k cashiers check made payable to Detroit Public Schools, vowing to make good on her promise.
