Kandi Burruss and her husband Todd Tucker loved the cooking of Kandi’s mother and aunties so much, that they opened a restaurant called Old Lady Gang last March. The journey to getting the eatery off the ground was documented on “The Real Housewives Of Atlanta,” and even though it was a bumpy ride, the family endeavor is a success.

The Old Lady Gang restaurant is extremely popular, and it’s not unusual to see a line of people patiently waiting to enjoy the eats by Kandi’s mother Joyce Jones (aka Mama Joyce), and aunts Bertha Jones and Nora Wilcox. On October 20th, after less than two years in the very challenging restaurant business, a second location will open at the Atlanta Hawks home court Philips Arena.

Kandi Burruss shared the wonderful news for her family on Instagram and stated:
I have been keeping this to myself but now I can finally announce that we will have an @oldladygang in the #PhillipsArena!!!! I’m so excited! Tonight they unveiled some of the new things they’re bringing to the newly renovated arena. I’m thankful to be a part of that. I’m also thankful that the first concert that will be in the new #PhillipsArena will be the #SoSoDef tour! So I get to be on stage & then meet you at my restaurant in the food court…😂. But that’s not all. A third location is also coming to Camp Creek, and it looks like it’s coming along nicely:
Congratulations to all!
