After photos of Cardi B and Nicki Minaj chatting surfaced earlier this year at the Met Gala in New York, it seemed as though all was good between the two extremely successful female rappers. As you can see by watching the video up top, things have definitely changed.

Cardi allegedly attacked Nicki New York Fashion Week’s annual Harper’s Bazaar Icons party, or at least tried to. Security guards for both ladies kept them apart from each other, but Cardi B ended up with a knot on her forehead during the scuffle.

It seems as though Nicki Minaj said something disparaging about Cardi B and Offset‘s daughter Kulture, and that appears to be what set Cardi B all the way off. Since Cardi could put them paws on Nicki, she actually threw her shoe at the leader of the Barbz.

After the confrontation, Nicki Minaj showed she was unbothered and unharmed by posting this selfie video:

Cardi B seemed to shed some light on why she has beef with Nicki via Instagram:

“I’ve let a lot of s*** slide! I let you sneak diss me, I let you lie on me …But when you mention my child, you choose to like comments about me as a mother, make comments about my abilities to take care of my daughter is when all bets are f***in off!!”
